What background do you have in terms of education and work experience?
Education-wise, I completed an MBO Level 4 in Entrepreneurship. Before joining Schut Papier, I worked as a warehouse manager in Ede.
How long have you been working for Schut Papier?
I have thoroughly enjoyed working at Schut Papier for four and a half years now. I started in Stock Preparation; after a year, I spent two years as a Dryer, followed by 1.5 years in Reeling. Because of this, I can now be deployed across various areas, which makes the work very varied.

Responsibilities
•How would you describe your role in three words?
In Stock Preparation: turning raw materials into short fibres, preparing pulpers and stock, and loading conveyor belts.
•What does a typical workday look like?
In Stock Preparation: when I arrive, I have a handover with my colleague regarding the current paper grades and what we are scheduled to produce. I start by carrying out checks and ensuring everything is kept clean and tidy. I verify the raw materials, fill the belts, prepare the pulper, and refine the materials.
