Since 1618, our watercolour paper is being produced in a traditional way. It is known for its high quality and is appreciated by both professional artists and hobbyists. Schut Paper’s watercolour paper is produced using only 100% wood-free cellulose or cotton and is pH-neutral and acid-free, which makes these papers very resistant to ageing. Artists such as yourself can choose between several surfaces, grammages and dimensions. So no matter what kind of watercolour paper you’re searching for, our portfolio undoubtedly contains a paper that is suitable for whatever your need, and for any project you may be working on!

Our watercolour paper is available in several standard grades and dimensions under our own brands:

• Terschelling. Acid-free, white watercolour paper made with 100% wood-free cellulose. This paper is strong enough to withstand multiple washes and is available with a medium-fine (CP), rough and smooth (HP) surface. Blocks are glued on all four sides.
• Serene. Acid-free, white watercolour paper made with 100% wood-free cellulose. This paper can withstand multiple washes and has a medium-fine surface (CP). Blocks are glued on all four sides.
• Studie Aquarel. Acid-free, white watercolour paper made with 100% high-quality wood-free cellulose. This paper is strong enough to withstand multiple washes and is also suitable for other wet-techniques. Blocks are glued on one side.
• Noblesse. Acid-free, off-white watercolour paper made with 100% cotton fibres. This is top-notch watercolour paper is made on our paper machine with traditional deckle-edges and gelatin sizing. It has a medium-fine surface texture (CP) and has superior strength and durability. Blocks are glued on all four sides.

Besides supplying watercolour papers under our own brands, we also offer the possiblity to develop and produce watercolour papers to your exact specifications under private label. In this case, you would have almost limitless possibilities in terms of surface, sizing, grammage, dimensions and formulation. Private label watercolour paper is possible for orders of 2 tons or more.
