Versatile since 1618

Schut Paper is a small but versatile producer of high-quality specialty papers. We are known for the excellent quality of our art papers, coloured and graphical paper grades, the use of a wide variety of fibres and for the tailor-made solutions we offer our customers. Our paper products are sold to customers worldwide.

Since the foundation in 1618, the paper mill of Schut Paper has always been located on the current site in Heelsum, in the east of The Netherlands. All kinds of paper are produced on one single paper machine with a range from 70 to 600 g/m² and with the help of 40 employees. For us, there are virtually no limitations in size, grammage, thickness, color and surface. In addition, we have the possibility to apply all kinds of functional coatings using our in-line coating equipment. The high quality level of our products is secured by means of continuous quality monitoring on our paper machine.

Schut Paper is part of the French group Exacompta Clairefontaine S.A. Within this group, we are one out of four independently operating paper mills, but the only one located outside of France. With our continuous focus on new application areas and products, we are considered a valuable asset tot he group, especially when it comes tot he development of new paper grades and process improvements.
