In Curaçao, I completed my secondary education (MAVO) and worked for the tax authorities and as a bailiff for 28 years; I also received specific training for that role. After moving to the Netherlands, I began working as an Operator. I had wanted to do this type of work for quite some time.

•What does a typical workday look like?
After checking in with colleagues and, of course, having a friendly chat, I get to work cutting paper. I use a job list to see which paper grades are scheduled for the day.
